will never be indecisive if you know your purpose. Faced with
a dilemma, the correct choice will reveal itself once you weigh
your options against your objectives. These should be durable,
long-term goals, otherwise you may be tempted to forsake them
for the lure of instant gratification. For example, students
may face a choice of carousing all night or studying for a big
exam. If their primary objective is to get a diploma, then there
really is no choice. They are obligated to to crack open those
books. However, if they are not sure what they want to accomplish
in school and life- if they don't feel it in their bellies-
they may very well waste the night in some small bar, and then
waste the next day with one large regret."
